Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is the standard we design and build against, and the one we hold new work on this site to.
What we do
Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought. On this site that includes semantic HTML and landmark structure for screen readers, text alternatives for meaningful images, sufficient color contrast, keyboard-operable navigation and controls, visible focus states, readable type at default sizes, and layouts that work when zoomed or on small screens. We review these as the site changes.
Where we are honest about limits
Some parts of the site may not yet meet every success criterion, and third-party content we embed, such as scheduling or chat tools, is built by its vendors and may behave differently from the rest of the site. When we find a gap we can fix, we fix it.
